Day 22 Mossman 14.6.18

When I stepped out of the cubby house this morning we had been invaded by turkeys. There was also a lot more campers.
After a leisurely start to the morning we walked into Mount Molloy through the bush track.

An old wares shop

lots of old plates

my favorite one

remnants of an old boiler

replica of an old shop front

memorial for war veterans

the obligatory coffee stop had great avocados for sale.
After walking back we had cold showers packed up and headed for Mossman, stopping at a lookout on the way down the mountain.
the view out to sea

bananas just pop up in the most random places

Our camp spot for tonight is at a friend of Yvonne's cane farm. The views are quiet spectacular out to Port Douglas.
The road in to the property is 1km long.

my photography doesn't do the view justice.
After lunch we all decided to go up to Mossman gorge for the afternoon. The water was so inviting I wished I brought my swimmers with us.

Crystal clear water

I got wet at Mossman gorge!

After a bit of grocery shopping it was home in time for pre dinner drinks, then dinner at Y & G van. Must've been a good night as it was 9pm before we realised it 😴
Today we travelled a whole 37kms
