Day 16 Blairgowrie, Mornington Peninsula 94km

This morning we moved on for a few days, but will return for the weekend.
We were headed for Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula,  but decide to jump off the freeway earlier and went to check out Mornington itself.

 Then it was down to explore the town.

We discovered a festival in Mornington, similar to the childers one. Had a great time and an awesome meal while listening to live music.

We decided to follow the coastline and stop wherever we saw something interesting and could get a car park.

Safety beach.

No easy parking in Rosebud or Rye,so we drove on until we found a great camp spot on the foreshore in Blairgowie. We set up, had a cup of tea then headed off to Sorrento on the bikes to explore.

Booked our tickets on the ferry for tomorrow.  And thank you Gunther, we took your advice and got an early crossing, saving $27.
