Day 18 23.10.18 Apollo Bay 127kms

Well we finally made it to the great ocean road today. It's been another huge day exploring, walking and a few more steps to climb. The weather has been cold and windy all day and this evening it is very cold, wet and windy 😕
Our day started with a quick stop in Barwon Heads. We had just crossed the  bridge in the pic above
Then we were off to the surfing museum in Torquay.

After I got a surfing lesson ⬆it was on to   Torquay beach ⬇a little bit different to our usual Torquay beach.

Next was Bells beach. I was a little disappointed as i was expecting big crashing waves and surfers doing there thing and I didn’t really see either.

A tourist volunteered to take a photo for us.
If you zoom in you may see a surfer riding a small wave in.
An unusual plant growing wild around the beach areas.
We visited the chocolatier for a warming drink.
Icy cold winds blowing at Airleys Inlet.

                         An old bark hut.

*worn out after another fantastic day. Will catch blog up when I get a chance*
