1.8.18 Biggenden

Finally on the road again.
First stop Maryborough.  While Mark was at the dentist i wandered around town.
Maryborough town hall.

Would love a library like this one in the museum.

School of arts, where the museum is.
We checked out the new war memorial in Queens park.  Wow, its amazing.  Very well thought out and educational.

Represents the beach landings

Memorial to Duncan  Chapman

After a quick snack in the park we headed off to Biggenden.
Mt Walsh in the distance

Free camp beside the old railway.

After winding up the camper Mark went to connect the door and heard a clunk and one corner of the roof dropped down. One of the cables has become loose. Fortunately I had already put the support poles in so it could only drop a few inches.
We managed to get it back down and headed straight to Jayco Bundy. It wasn't going to be a simple fix so we brought it home and have totally emptied it, ready for it to go back to Jayco early in the morning.
So we are back home again for another couple of nights.

We traveled 309kms!
Our camper has done approximately 11,500kms and still hasn't left Queensland 😮
