Memorial park.
The plaques had been removed from the train and tractor.
Then it was time for a swim. The water was deliciously hot. Well worth the $8 entry fee. We spent over an hour soaking.
We were going to have a look at the heritage museum but it closed while we were in the pool.
Decided on the bakery for lunch as the pub looked a bit how ya goin! The meals were delicious and huge.
Curried sausages and fish and chips.
With not much more to see we decided to drive on, electing to camp at the Morven Showgrounds. Lots of camping area, about 20 other campers here. At $5 in the honesty box its a bargain. Morven has a population of 250 people & was originally known as Sadliers Waterhole after an earlier settler.
The view from our bedroom window. Kangaroos were grazing in the afternoon.
View out the front .
Traveled 178kms. Temperature around 28 made for a beautiful day.
