After leaving Elmore we stopped at Rochester to look at the silo art work and murals. Due to being Melbourne cup day nothing was open so we didn't get to have a coffee 😢
Drove through Echuca without stopping as we have been there a couple of times already. Stopped at Moama for a coffee fix.
Then on to Deniliquin to check out the utes and wander around the town.

Finally we decided to go to Hay for the night. Stopped at The Bishop's Lodge, a Historic House and Rose Gardens, at the south end of Hay. Most of the roses were spent but i got a couple of photos.
Floor plan of the lodge. It is huge, with high ceilings.
We chose the Showgrounds as our camp spot. Hay had a big storm overnight and the ground was soggy at the free camps.
Afternoon tea ⬆was our first choice of things to do, then a shower.
A very windy storm blew through just as i got back from the shower.
Thankfully it didn't last long and we had a lovely rainbow to finish the afternoon off.
Water fountain memorial for the prisoner of war camp held in Hay.
Set up outside again and had satay chicken and potatoes with a salad .
It's 7pm and still daylight for another hr or so.
