Day 38 12.11.18 Lightning Ridge

Thankfully it cooled down overnight and we had a gentle breeze. I woke up early and went for a wander around town while Mark slept in a little.

After breakfast we went to the thermal pools for a quick dip. The average temperature of the water is 41 degrees.

Had a look at Coopers cottage but it wasn't open.

Finally it was time to go to the Chambers of the black hand,⬇to look at some 800+ carvings and do a tour of the opal mine
