Day 34 8.11.18 Nyngan, NSW 298km

A very cold night & apparently it rained with a little hailstones as well. We have moved on to Cobar but haven't decided if we will stay the night yet.
 Lots of wild goats ⬆
Stopped just south of Cobar to do the Golden Walk     ↕   at the Peak mine.

Couldn't help myself, I had to make a rock stack before moving on to the lookout ⬇

Finally got to Cobar, ⬆ this is a free camp area at the entrance to the town.
Bird houses ⬆outside the Information centre had a pair of galahs nesting.
Sculptures at info center.   ↕
Information & heritage center ⬇
We chose to go for a ride on the heritage trail ⬇It was only 6.5kms but lots of getting on and off the bikes to look at things.

Old,  disused copper mine ⬇

Pelicans at the wetlands ⬆
Catholic church ⬇
Big can @ the Grand Hotel
Then it was time for a spot of tea at a quaint shop that had a wall full of clocks ⬇
& served tea in beautiful china ware.
One last wander around another heritage park before we move on.

We decided we had seen enough of Cobar and moved on to Nyngan, stopping at the Solar farm on the way.
Solar panels as far as we could see ⬆
                 Solar farm info ↕
Our free camp spot for the night is beside an old shearers shed.

Lovely Jacaranda trees are raining purple flowers.
The railway bridge we used to walk into town.

The Bogan from Nyngan sculpture,  which I have seen on a tv show.

No rain and warmer tonight. It seems Nyngan likes noisy cars. Reminds me of when I go to the goldcoast.  Ear plugs for sure tonight 😴
