Day 39 13.11.18 St George, Qld 235km

Another early morning walk for me, 2.4km.
Entry is free into the gallery
More of the artists murals ↕ in the street.

An old cottage ↕ made from old bottles
Walked past an incredible aquatic centre, this is just one of the childrens slides⬇
After packing up the camper because it was too windy, we left it at the caravan park while we revisited the Chambers of the black hand mine again this morning.

The artist carved himself ⬆
The artist doing some repairs ↕

I needed to use the bathroom ⬆ so I was given a lift up to the top ⬇in a man hoist. The lift shaft wasn't dug out completely vertical and in the middle you feel like you are falling over. Freaky!

We watched a couple of interviews with old timers. After leaving the mine we spotted an emu.

We headed off to Hebel , which is just across the Qld border.

We were going to camp beside the Hebel hotel but with the time change back as we crossed the border we were way to early to stop. So we drove on to St George. We're staying in a caravan park for 2 nights. The only thing we have done since arriving is swim/relax in the pool. Todays temp got to 32.
The pool is slightly heated artesian water
