Day 43 17.11.18 Goondiwindi

A warm night and at 6.30am the thermometer reads 25degees.
We enjoyed a bike ride along the river and around town.
It was 'snowing ' yellow ⬆
Walking/riding path beside the McIntyre river      ↕
We visited Goondiwindi at the start of our trip so we decided to do a "beer & bullsh*t" tour of the old Victoria Hotel. We were the only ones on the tour so we got the guides undivided attention. He was an old time local of 82 years and had a wealth of knowledge. The tour included lunch and a drink. The man loved a good yarn and entertained us for 3 hours including having lunch with us. Unfortunately we both forgot to get a photo of the hotel from the outside & only took a couple inside.
Original leadlight windows.
The original fireplace
A piece of the original floor coverings.
Big, wide verandas upstairs.

View from the veranda.
Our own private luncheon.
Just as we arrived home a short, sharp storm arrived. As soon as that disappeared we headed to the pool and spa for a splash and me to do my shoulder exercises.
