It was a bit of a wild night weather wise. We've had thunder, lighting , rain and strong winds. The camper was rocking at times.
Our plans have been altered again. It's too miserable to ride so we will pack up and drive to a couple of museums and then head off northish again .
Visited the Dunera museum at the railway station.
Also visited the Hay Gaol Museum.
Too wet to wander through the war cemetery so we headed off again.
Stopped in Goolgowi for fuel and then in Meriwagga to look at the Pioneer Womens display.
Still raining so we ate our pre made lunch in the car in a rest area near Hillston.
Called it quits in Mt Hope and are camped behind the Royal Hotel. An old mining town that if you blinked you would miss it. Eventually the rain stopped for half an hour and we went for a walk, climbing around the slag heaps.
Decided that it is pub night for dinner, but when we got there the Internet was down meaning no EFTPOS available so we ended up with a pie and chips for dinner as we only had a small amount of cash on us.
Sunseting as we came back from dinner.
It is cold so the spare blankets will be dragged back out.
Pictures uploaded at a later date as reception is minimal.
