Day 41 15.11.18 Thallon. 80km

We went for an early morning ride this morning , a whole 9km! Along the Balonne river again as we realised we missed the pilot memorial.

We were too early for the supermarket to open to get some milk, so like all good cyclists we stopped for a coffee ☕
Our first stop was a picnic by the Moonie river at Nindigully. It was very dry and hot. Supposed to get to 34 degrees today and it felt like it was at 10am.

A very dry and dusty ⬆free camping area.
Then it was on to Thallon to check out the silos. How spectacular.
Mark snuck up closer than you were supposed too.
The view from our camp spot

We had $8 wombat burgers at the local pub for lunch and paid our $5.50 camp fee for the night. This gave us power, water, toilets and a shower! The air con will be given a work out for sure.

So far the camper trailer has traveled 5,396 kms this trip, making it just short of 20,000 kms since our first trip in February.
Once it started to cool down we went for a walk to explore the area, 1.6km, not very big and not really a lot to see.
